I’m walking 100km in Loving Memory of Our Son, Reyan ❤️

In December 2015, our world stood still. We were preparing to welcome our baby boy, Reyan, when he was born sleeping. A post-mortem found no medical cause. It left behind a quiet emptiness that words can never fully describe.

Losing a child brings a deep grief that changes a parent's world forever. It is an ongoing heartache, a mixture of love and constant longing that stays with you every single day. In the midst of such sorrow, what bereaved families need most is soft hearts, gentle compassion, and a safe space to grieve. Every parent walking this path deserves understanding, kindness, and love.

Despite the heartbreak, our love for Reyan remains as strong as ever. Time moves on, but a family never forgets their child. Reyan will always be a precious and deeply cherished part of our lives.

Today, we are blessed with three beautiful children who bring so much warmth and light to our days. Our hands are full with them, but Reyan is always here in spirit, quietly watching over his younger siblings as their big brother.

This September, I am walking 100km in his honour. 👼🏽

Every mile is a tribute to Reyan, turning our everlasting love for him into hope for others. I am raising funds for Sands, a charity that ensures anyone affected by the loss of a baby receives dedicated support during their darkest days. Sands also trains healthcare professionals and funds vital research so fewer families face this tragedy.
