I’m swimming in November for families facing baby loss
I’ve committed to swimming this November for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change and provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals so that fewer babies die and fewer families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Wednesday 14th Oct💗 10KM SWIM FOR SANDS – IN LOVING MEMORY OF MY DAUGHTER LUCIE 💗
This November, I will be taking on the challenge of swimming 10 kms to raise money for Sands, the stillbirth and neonatal death charity, in loving memory of my beautiful daughter. 🦋
Losing a baby is something no parent should ever have to experience, and although no amount of money can ever take away the pain of losing a child, I hope that by taking on this challenge, I can help make a difference to other families who are going through the unimaginable heartbreak of losing their precious baby.
Sands provides vital support to bereaved families and works to improve the care and understanding surrounding baby loss. This cause is incredibly close to my heart, and I want to do something meaningful in honour of my little girl, whose memory will live with me forever. 💕
Swimming 10km will be a personal challenge, but every metre I swim will be for her. I will be carrying her with me in my heart throughout every part of this journey, turning my love for her into something that can help other families who need support.
If you are able to donate, no matter how big or small, I would be so incredibly grateful. Or even a share would go a long way. Every donation will help Sands continue their amazing work and support families who are facing the devastating loss of their baby.
