I’m taking part in Sands Starlight Walk
I’m taking part in Sands Starlight Walk as I want to help those affected by the loss of a baby to find the light in the dark. Every day 13 babies die before, during or shortly after birth. I am raising funds to help Sands continue to build a world where more babies survive, and more families receive the happy ending they deserve.

Starlight Walk is a sponsored walk where hundreds of people come together to walk under the stars to remember their babies and raise funds for Sands. Shining a Light for Charlie and All the Little Ones Gone Too Soon
Sunday 9th NovOn 7th December 2025, I’ll be taking part in the Sands Star Light Walk in memory of a very special little boy, Charlie, who sadly passed away at just 14 months old.
Charlie would have celebrated his 12th birthday on 7th November, and although he is no longer with us, his memory continues to shine brightly in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him. 💛
Sands (the Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Society) provides incredible support to families who experience the unimaginable loss of a baby or young child. They also work tirelessly to fund research and raise awareness to help prevent these tragedies in the future.
Taking part in this walk is my way of honouring Charlie’s memory and helping Sands continue their vital work, offering comfort, hope, and understanding to families when they need it most.
