My Journey: Swimming 5K to Help Save Babies' Lives 🩷🩵

Hello everyone! My name is Emily, and this November I'm taking on a personal challenge to swim 5K to raise money for baby loss awareness, support bereaved families, and help save babies' lives.

Although I haven't personally experienced the loss of a baby, I have experienced loss in my own life, and I know how deeply it can hurt. With my own dream of becoming a mom one day, I honestly cannot imagine the heartbreak of being given the most precious gift in the world, only to have it taken away.

My heart goes out to every family who has experienced this unimaginable pain. No parent should ever have to go through it, and no family should ever feel alone in their grief.

I'm also making positive changes to my own lifestyle and trying to exercise more as part of my journey towards achieving my dream of becoming a mom. I wanted to turn this journey into something meaningful — not just for myself, but for families who need support and for babies whose lives we hope to save.

Every length I swim will be for a cause bigger than me. For the babies who will never be forgotten, the parents who carry them in their hearts, and the hope that more families can be spared the heartbreak of baby loss.

I may not know these families personally, but I want to make a difference in any way I can. ❤️
