I’m walking 100K in September for families facing baby loss

I’ve committed to walking 100K in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Why this matters to me

Monday 31st Aug
We lost our twin baby girls in 2014, to twin to twin transfusion syndrome. This means they were perfectly healthy babies, just sadly because they shared a placenta, one of them had a slightly better food and blood supply, and they perished together. We unlike many other bereaved families, had an answer to why our babies perished. Sands have been an incredible charity for us, helping us through the dark days to remember our much wanted babies, accept what happened was not our fault and to celebrate the life we have now with our rainbow baby. Sands is a lifeline for so many and any fundraising that can be done for them is well worth it. Thank you for reading. Much love xx
