I’m running 2k a day in Febuary for families facing baby loss
I’ve committed to running 2k a day this February for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Saturday 31st JanA couple of weeks ago, I was lamenting my lack of motivation to MOVE (on the sofa, sauvy b in hand of course) and lo and behold this challenge came up on the Gram.
Recently, I've had cause to think more deeply about something I read recently, which is that we all know someone affected by baby loss - and the importance of making sure that organisations like Sands can support as many of those people as possible.
So here I am, starting small because I think that's what adds up to bigger things.
If me plodding the streets of Cardiff every day in February come rain or shine helps this wonderful organisation then so be it, and if it could also sort out my newly-acquired double chin, that would be a bonus.
My aim is to run 2k and update you - yes, all three of you - every day through February on my fundraising/chin reduction progress. Who knows, I may even "do a Live" like the youth.
