🤍🧸 Crocheting for Sands – Turning Heartbreak Into Hope 🧸🤍

I’ve decided to start crocheting for Sands (Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Society) because this is something that is incredibly close to my heart.

Over the years, I’ve watched friends and family go through the heartbreaking loss of their precious babies. Seeing the pain, grief and emptiness that comes with losing a little one is something that stays with you forever. 💔

Sadly, this is something I understand personally too. I have lost 7 precious babies of my own, and there are no words to describe the heartbreak of losing a baby you already love so much. It’s a pain that never truly goes away, and although everyone’s grief is different, the loss of a little life leaves a forever mark on your heart. 👼🏻🤍

I originally started crocheting as a way to help me cope with my own losses. It gave me something to focus on during some of my darkest moments, and now I want to use that little bit of comfort to help others who are going through something no parent should ever have to experience.

That’s why I want to crochet for Sands. If I can make even one family feel a little less alone, bring a little comfort during the most heartbreaking time of their lives, or help a family create a precious memory of their little angel, then every stitch will be worth it. 🧸🕊️

Behind every little item is a whole lot of love, a little piece of my own journey, and the hope that I can make even the smallest difference to someone else’s world.

No family should ever have to feel alone in their grief. Every baby matters, every baby is loved, and every baby deserves to be remembered. 🤍

I’m hoping to make as many little crocheted keepsakes as I can, all made with love, in memory of the babies gone too soon and for the families who carry them in their hearts forever. 👼🏻🤍
