I’m walking 100K in September for families facing baby loss
I’ve committed to walking 100K in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Monday 18th AugAt 39 weeks and 2days pregnant 22nd of February 2020 i showed signs of labour as my water broke and I was bleeding
Due date wasn't to far from that day, 3rd of March 2020 so i was super excited
Packed my bag and off I was to the hospital, stayed over night and came home next day, did hear her tiny heartbeat that day,
Little did i know it was my last..
midwife appointment mid week and it was suppost to be my last, no heartbeat was found 2 days after i was let home, machine is broken i though, was send straight away to the hospital
A room full of nurses, doctor's and midwife, my head was spinning and i was scared, the time came...doctors scanned me all of their faces stayed the same with a look of complete shock and sadness
He said: “I’m sorry, but there's no heartbeat.”
I shouted and cried but I shortly realised I was going to have to deliver my daughter who had already passed away, something no mother should have to
india-Rose was delivered 29th of February 2020 and she was completely perfect and beautiful
I spent 1days with India-Rose before being discharged. I later found out she suffered a loss of oxygen
