I’m taking part in Sands Ribbon Run
I’ve committed to taking part in Sands Ribbon Run in Manchester which takes place during Baby Loss Awareness Week on Saturday 10 October 2026. I am taking part for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.
Thank you.
£20 - could provide a bereaved family with a memory box to help create and keep safe precious and lasting memories of their baby.
£35 - could answer a call from someone reaching out for support who has been through pregnancy loss or the death of a baby.
£100 - could help ensure every hospital in the UK has a dedicated Sands volunteer to help healthcare professionals access our training, guidance and support.

IN MEMORY OF REAGAN💙
Wednesday 10th JunI am taking part in the Ribbon Run in honour of my son Reagan.
Unfortunately whilst pregnant my placenta ruptured which led to an early delivery of my son. Sadly he passed away in my arms a short while after he was born.
Thanks to SANDS charity i was able to spend 4 days making memories with my son. I will forever be greatful for everything they have provided and helped with, not just for me but for my daughter who was 3 at the time.
They also provided me with a photoshoot and memory box which are my most precious items i will ever own and wouldnt of been posible without SANDS.
Docations can be as little as £1. By sponsoring me, you will be making a huge difference to the lives of bereaved families in their darkest hours, helping to give them hope for the future.
I would be so grateful for your support – thank you so much 🩷💙
Deanna Clarke.
