I’m running 50k in September for families facing baby loss
Hello everyone!
I want to take a moment of your time to ask for your support. Last year, my wife and I had the unfortunate instance of losing a baby before we had the chance to meet them. Our world collapsed, but during this time we had endless support by family and friends. That support allowed us to continue as a couple wait a few months to grieve and heal then allow us to try again.
Sometime in the next few weeks my wife and I will be having our first born baby and I honestly can not wait, I am scared and excited. However, I always remember how I felt when we lost 'Baby Aitch' was his name. I wanted to do something to help other families/Parents who experience the same loss.
I’ve committed to running 50k in September for a much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.
