Gaming for Archie & Lilly
Monday 16th MarI’m gaming for SANDS this April to support families who’ve lost their baby. Your gift will help bereaved families and support research into lowering the number of babies dying everyday.
My story,
On 3rd May 2017 Chelsea and Olly attended their 20 week scan to be told that there were health complications and that their baby wouldn’t survive. Archie John Teddy Jefferies, my beautiful nephew was born sleeping on 10th May 2017. A day I have never cried more on any other day in my life.
On the 4th January 2020, Tia & Chris attended the hospital at 30 weeks gestation as Tia hadn’t felt her baby girl move for a while and they were informed that her heart had stopped beating. Lilly Rose Richards my beautiful niece was born sleeping on the 8th January 2020. A day I felt completely numb to my grief and pain, and so extremely angry at the world.
I have since cried (a lot) and fully felt my grief for losing Lilly. My grief for both Archie and Lilly is a daily pain that will never go away.
Sands helps families as a whole through stillbirths, neonatal deaths and everything in between. They have been amazing for my sisters in laws, but equally for my amazing brother in laws, with the SANDS united teams they are part of. Their charity I one I support fully, and cannot thank them enough for being their for us all in these unimaginable times we have faced as a family.
