My name is Maria and I am the organiser of this year’s Clacton on Sea Ribbon Run/Walk, those of you that have taken part in previous years will already know me   I really hope that you will all join us again for our Ribbon Run/Walk 2025 and that between us all we can raise even more money than last year.

The 5k route will be the same as previous years and we will be starting and finishing our walk at the Baby Loss Awareness Remembrance Ribbon Display at the memorial Garden along Clacton Seafront.  We start the walk at the Clacton Pier and walk along Clacton Seafront, we then head up a slope that brings us outside The Kingscliff and then walk back along the top promenade to finish at the Baby Loss Awareness Remembrance Ribbon Display.  The distance is 5k and it is a 5k walk.

We're taking part in Sands Ribbon Run this Baby Loss Awareness Week 9-15 October.

Sands exists to support anyone affected by the death of a baby, before, during or shortly after birth, whenever this happened and for as long as they need support. 

By sponsoring us, you are helping Sands break the silence around baby loss and to continue to save babies’ lives.

£10 - could provide a hand and footprint kit to help create memories.

£20 - could provide a bereaved family with a memory box to help create and keep safe precious and lasting memories of their baby.

£35 - could answer a call from someone reaching out for support who has been through pregnancy loss or the death of a baby.

£100 - could help ensure every hospital in the UK has a dedicated Sands volunteer to help healthcare professionals access our training, guidance and support.
