I’ve committed to walking 100K in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Why I’m Taking Part in the SANDS Sponsor Walk
Tuesday 1st SepThis year, I’m taking part in the SANDS Sponsor Walk in memory of my beautiful son, who I lost 15 years ago.
Although so many years have passed, the love and memories I have for him will always remain. SANDS has been there for me throughout the years, offering understanding, support and a safe place for me to share my grief.
Taking part in this walk is my way of giving something back to SANDS, raising awareness and helping them continue to support other families going through the heartbreaking loss of a baby or child.
Most importantly, I’m doing this to keep my son’s memory alive. He will always be a part of me, and I will carry his memory with me every step of the way.
