I’m taking part in Sands Ribbon Run

I’m taking part in Sands Ribbon Run in Manchester this Baby Loss Awareness Week 9-15 October.

Support me as I take on my distance in support of Sands, helping them to continue to build a world where more babies survive and more families receive the happy ending they deserve.

Ribbon Run is a sponsored run, walk or jog where thousands of people come together to remember their babies and raise funds for Sands.

By sponsoring me, you are helping Sands break the silence around baby loss and to continue to save babies’ lives.

£20 - could provide a bereaved family with a memory box to help create and keep safe precious and lasting memories of their baby.

£35 - could answer a call from someone reaching out for support who has been through pregnancy loss or the death of a baby.

£100 - could help ensure every hospital in the UK has a dedicated Sands volunteer to help healthcare professionals access our training, guidance and support.

🏃‍♀️ Running 5K for Sands – Every Step Counts

This year, I’m lacing up my trainers and taking on a 5K to raise money for Sands, a charity that is incredibly close to the hearts of my dear friends and myself. Sands provides vital support for families affected by the loss of a baby and works tirelessly to improve care and prevent future losses.

I have myself experienced the support from this charity and it brought a lot of support and comfort  at very sad times.  I know the pain and heartbreak that so many families go through, I’ve seen the strength, love, and resilience that this charity provides.  It’s inspired me to do something meaningful – to run, to fundraise, make positive memories, and to help make sure that other families do not have to suffer in silence.

Every pound raised will help Sands continue their vital work: offering support, funding research, protecting the care of babies and raising awareness. Together, we can make a difference – step by step, mile by mile.

If you’re able to donate, no matter the amount, it would mean the world to me and to the families Sands supports. If you cannot donate, please join the fundraising event or share my fundraising page is another amazing way to help.
