I'm knitting for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Saturday 15th Aug I’m raising money for Sands, the stillbirth and neonatal death charity, a cause that provides vital support to families affected by pregnancy and baby loss.The loss of a baby is devastating, and no family should have to face that grief alone. Sands works to support bereaved parents and families, while also helping to improve maternity care and supporting research that aims to save babies’ lives.
Why I’m Fundraising
I want to do something positive that can make a genuine difference to families going through an incredibly difficult time. By fundraising for Sands, I hope to help ensure that people affected by baby loss can access support, information and a compassionate community when they need it most.
Every donation matters. Whether it’s £5, £10 or more, the money raised can contribute towards Sands’ work supporting bereaved families and helping create a future where fewer babies die.
