I’m taking part in Sands Ribbon Run
I’m taking part in Sands Ribbon Run this Baby Loss Awareness Week 9-15 October.
Support me as I take on 5, 10 or 15km in support of Sands, helping them to continue to build a world where more babies survive and more families receive the happy ending they deserve.
Ribbon Run is a sponsored run, walk or jog where thousands of people come together to remember their babies and raise funds for Sands. It’s free to sign up and it’s up to you how you take part. You can run it, walk it, push it, or jog it; alone or with friends and family.
By sponsoring me, you are helping Sands break the silence around baby loss and to continue to save babies’ lives.
£3 - could provide a Sands birth certificate for a baby whose birth cannot be registered through a register office.
£10 - could provide a hand and footprint kit to help create memories.
£20 - could provide a bereaved family with a memory box to help create and keep safe precious and lasting memories of their baby.
£35 - could answer a call from someone reaching out for support who has been through pregnancy loss or the death of a baby.
£100 - could help ensure every hospital in the UK has a dedicated Sands volunteer to help healthcare professionals access our training, guidance and support.

Wednesday 2nd Oct I just want to thank each and every one of you for your generous donations for the 2nd year of my ribbon run fundraiser ! I set myself a target of £150 this year as I know times are hard for everyone . If I managed to raise anything - I was greatful . But to beat my target for a 2nd year running … I am struggling to find the words . I don’t know what I’ve done to have such generous people in my life , I wouldn’t beat targets two years in a row without those who donate . I am so honoured and proud to be able to raise money for a charity so close to my heart . I will continue to advocate for women going through pregnancy loss / baby loss / child loss . I will continue to be the voice for those who cannot speak . Our babies matter . Their lives matter . Their memories matter .
My 2nd Ribbon Run .
Sunday 18th Aug I am taking part in the Sands Ribbon Run 2024 for the 2nd time this coming October . Last year I completed the 10k ribbon run and managed to raise over £300 for this amazing charity. I always try to help raise awareness around babyloss , particularly Babyloss awareness week which runs from 9th October to 15th October every year . Please help me by donating to my fundraiser . Even £1 helps this charity give support to many bereaved families across the UK .
