I’m swimming in November for families facing baby loss
I’ve committed to swimming this November for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change and provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals so that fewer babies die and fewer families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Today I officially started my 20K Swim Challenge for Sands 💙
Over the month of November, I will be swimming 800 lengths to raise awareness and support the incredible work that Sands does for families who have experienced the heartbreak of losing a baby or babies 💔
This year, I’m swimming especially in honour of precious baby George 💙
And as always I will be remembering beautiful baby Frances, babies Nora and Henry, and baby Rudi too 💙🩷
As a midwife, I’ve had the privilege of caring for so many families over the years whose precious babies were born sleeping or sadly died shortly after birth 💔😢
These are babies and families who have never left my heart, and never ever will. 💕
Every baby matters. Every baby has a story. And every baby deserves to be remembered. 💙
So, for all those precious little lives, and for all the moms , dads and families who carry their babies in their hearts every single day, I’ll be swimming every single one of those lengths with you in mind.
