Run 2k a Day in February 2026

This February, I’m running 2km every day in memory of my babies, and for every much-loved baby who is sadly not here today.

After experiencing baby loss myself, I’ve seen how isolating and life-changing it can be. That’s why I’m fundraising for Sands, a charity that supports families through loss, campaigns for better care and understanding, trains healthcare professionals, and funds vital research so that fewer families have to endure this heartbreak.

Turning love into action feels like the most meaningful way I can honour my babies and help others feel less alone. Anything you are able to donate truly means so much.

Thank you for your kindness and support.

Why “Common” Doesn’t Mean Easy

Sunday 1st Feb

After sharing my story, something I’ve thought a lot about is how common baby loss actually is and yet how incredibly isolating it feels when it happens to you.

So many people go through this. One in four pregnancies ends in loss. You see that statistic everywhere, and at first it can sound clinical, neat, almost manageable. But living it is anything but. Knowing it’s common doesn’t make it easier. It doesn’t make it hurt less. It doesn’t make your body forget, or your heart stop asking what if.

I’ve been through it three times. Physically, it takes a toll that people rarely talk about. Emotionally, it changes how you see your body, pregnancy, hope, and the future. There is grief for the babies themselves, and then there is the quieter grief for the versions of you that died and of life that never got to exist.

I’ve learned through my journey that grief doesn’t always shout. Sometimes it just sits with you, gently woven into who you are. I’ve done the work to hold it with love, not as something to overcome, but as something that reminds me of how deeply I loved. And that love is why I will continue to fundraise for charities like Sands, who support families through loss and push for better care, research, and understanding. It’s also why Tim is doing his part for Petals, another charity doing incredible work and who supported us through our losses.

Turning love into action feels like the most meaningful way we can honour our babies and help others feel less alone.
