I’m walking 100K in September for families facing baby loss
I’ve committed to walking 100K in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Thursday 4th SepThis September, I’m walking 100km for myself, for every mother, and for every family who has faced the heartbreak of baby loss.
Did you know that 1 in 2 of us, or someone we know, will experience the trauma of losing a baby? Hearing the words “there’s no heartbeat”, having scanxiety, navigating pregnancies that don’t go as planned, going through labour without ever hearing your baby cry, these are the devastating realities too many families face.
Too often, we’re left without answers. Too often, it’s out of our control. That’s why we need to take action now.
Every donation, no matter the size, helps drive change. By supporting research, improving maternity services and strengthening bereavement care, we can give more families the chance to bring their baby home instead of becoming another statistic.
You don’t have to do this alone. Walk with us, because we are stronger together.
