 Walking for the Babies We Never Got to Meet

My name is Hailey .

I walk because some families carry tiny footprints in their hearts instead of little hands in theirs.

Baby loss is not something you simply "get over." It becomes part of a family's story forever. Behind every ribbon, every candle and every mile walked is a name, a dream, a future imagined, and a love that never disappears.

As a healthcare professional, I have seen courage in its purest form. As a human being, I know that compassion can save lives just as much as medicine can.

This walk is not about sadness alone.

It is about remembrance.

It is about hope.

It is about making sure no parent feels forgotten and no baby is ever invisible.

Every step I take is for the families who wake up every day carrying both love and loss. It is for those who have held their babies for a lifetime that lasted only moments, and for those still finding the strength to smile whilst carrying unimaginable grief.

If my feet ache, I will remember why I started.

If the weather turns, I will keep walking.

Because every baby mattered.

Every family matters.

And together, we can remind grieving parents that they are never walking alone.
