I’m gaming for good for families facing baby loss
I’ve committed to gaming for good for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

£10 - could provide a hand and footprint kit to help create memories.
£20 - could provide a bereaved family with a memory box to help create and keep safe precious and lasting memories of their baby.
£35 - could answer a call from someone reaching out for support who has been through pregnancy loss or the death of a baby.
£100 - could help ensure every hospital in the UK has a dedicated Sands volunteer to help healthcare professionals access our training, guidance and support.

Dexters Daddy is GAMING FOR GOOD - 12 HOURS GAMING MARATHON!💙 FRIDAY 15th MAY🦁
Tuesday 5th MayDexter was born at 24 weeks & 1 day, He weighed a tiny 720g!
It was a massive shock for everyone, he wanted to be here in time for Easter!
Later that evening we all got transferred to Addenbrookes hospital where we spent the next 31 days. The first day we had a very emotional chat with the consultant who said we have to take it hour by hour and the first 3 days were crucial, but we knew Dexter was a strong little boy considering what he had been through and we were lucky to have him in our lives for 31 days.
We were lucky enough to have a room at Chestnut house, in Addenbrookes, just 2 floors under where Dexter was been taken care of in NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) Which meant we could spend all day and night with our baby boy.
My wife & I have attended a monthly SANDS support group, and have done since Dexter passed away. We wouldn’t be where we are now without them, We are so grateful to know such amazing people, and we will continue to attend to help support other families💙🦋 🦁
