I’m running 50k in September for families facing baby loss
I'm running 50km in September for SANDS – a charity that’s close to my heart.
After personal experiences , I’ve seen how life can change in an instant. The loss of a baby — at any stage — is something that stays with you. It affects your mental health, your anxiety, your relationships, your sense of self… your whole life.
SANDS (Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Society) supports anyone affected by baby loss, including miscarriage, stillbirth, and neonatal death. They offer counselling, resources, and a safe space for families to grieve, speak openly, and begin to heal.
This September, I’ll be running 50 kilometres to raise money and awareness for this incredible charity. Every step is for the little lives lost too soon — and for the families learning to carry that grief forward.
Appreciate 50k to some people isn’t much but I’m no big runner . Also it’s not 50k in one go ! Just to make it clear , I’m no Paula Radcliffe !
