I’m running 50k in September In memory of Acorn, Daisy, and Iris
The past 12 months have been incredibly tough for our family, as we had to say goodbye to three separate pregnancies. We would have loved nothing more than to meet each of our daughters in person and share this beautiful journey with them as their parents. Though they were never born, they will always be remembered, loved, and part of our family.
This September, I am taking on a big challenge: running 50K across the month in support of SANDS, a charity that helps families affected by baby loss. It’s especially meaningful for me as I haven’t run in 18 months and I’m still recovering from recent surgery, so every step truly feels like a tribute to Acorn, Daisy, and Iris.
