We are taking part in Sands Ribbon Run
Nathan and I have committed to taking part in Sands 5k Ribbon Run in Manchester which takes place during Baby Loss Awareness Week on Saturday 10 October 2026. I am taking part for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
For those who don't know, we very sadly lost our little baby early on this year through a miscarriage. We have very much been affected by our baby's loss and still struggling to this day. We are hoping that raising money for Sands will have some sort of impact to prevent future baby loss. As well as support those who have experienced a miscarriage and/or lost a baby further on in pregnancy/after birth.
Sands ensures that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.
