I’m taking part in Sands Ribbon Run for my three angel babies Ace, Nova & River
Hi I'm Amy, I am completing this Ribbon Run as I have suffered from three heartbreaking pregnancy losses.
My first miscarriage was September 2020 my angel baby Ace. My second miscarriage was an ectopic pregnancy in July 2021 my angel baby Nova and my third miscarriage was October 2021 my third and final angel baby River.
I’ve committed to taking part in Sands Ribbon Run which takes place during Baby Loss Awareness Week (9-15 October) for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

My Angel Babies
Wednesday 17th Sep Me and my partner Martin was trying for a baby in September 2020 and the first try we got pregnant, unfortunately this ended in a miscarriage shortly after. My first angel baby Ace. I also got pregnant in May and bled straight away so presumed this was an early miscarriage, this ended up being an ectopic pregnancy where I was rushed around for surgery in July 2021 and I lost not only my baby who I had just saw on a scan with it's beating heart but my right fallopion tube aswell, my second angel baby Nova. I did happen to fall pregnant within a few weeks of the surgery but unfortunately this was another loss, this baby was a missed miscarriage. I went into hospital where they administered the medication to bring on my miscarriage and I ended up having my last baby at home on 1st October 2021. This baby was teeny tiny fully formed arms, little legs developing, eyes and the smallest body. I held my baby and sobbed, my third angel baby River.Thank you to my Sponsors
