I’ve committed to walking 100K in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Sunday 30th AugMy beautiful little Mabel, I wish I could have given you the life I dreamed about. I wish I could have watched you take your first steps, heard your first words, held your hand and watched you grow. There are so many things I will never get to know about you. But there is one thing I will always know. You were loved. You are loved and you always will be. I will carry you in my heart for every step I take from here. And if I can find the courage to stand beside another bereaved parent, to listen to them, to understand them, or simply sit with them in their darkest moment, then I will. For you. For me. And for every baby who was loved beyond words and every parent who has had to say goodbye far too soon. We carry them and we will love them always and forever x
