Run 50k in September 2025

Team Dack’s 100k Challenge for Sands

Together, we’re taking on 100 kilometres this September (50k each) to raise funds for Sands. Sands (the Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Society) is a UK charity that supports anyone affected by the death of a baby, whether during pregnancy, at birth, or shortly afterwards. They provide vital bereavement support for families, train and guide healthcare professionals in sensitive care, and work with the NHS and researchers to improve maternity safety and reduce baby deaths. Sands also campaigns nationally to raise awareness, break the silence around baby loss, and push for changes that will help save babies’ lives and ensure bereaved families are never left to cope alone.

This cause is especially important to us. Bridget has been a midwife for over twenty years and has walked alongside many families through the heartbreak of baby loss.  Running 100k will be tough, but nothing compared to the challenges faced by the families in need of Sands support.

Every donation will help Sands continue their incredible work supporting families in their darkest moments, and working to create a safer future for babies and parents.

We'd really appreciate any pennies you can spare to support this cause and keep us running...

Thank you - B & G xx
