In memory of Sophia and Alannah

This Baby Loss Awareness Week (9–15 October), we’ll be taking part in Ribbon Run Manchester in memory of our twin girls.

The run falls the day before what would have been their first birthday, so this feels like a really special way for us to remember them and do something positive in their memory.

Losing the girls has been the hardest thing we’ve ever been through, and we’re so grateful for all the love and support our family and friends have shown us through such a difficult time. Sands supports so many bereaved families and works tirelessly to help save babies’ lives and improve care for anyone affected by baby loss.

Ribbon Run is a sponsored run, walk or jog where thousands of people come together to remember their babies and raise money for Sands.

We’re hoping to get a team together made up of both experienced runners and some people who have never ran a mile before — so whether you want to run, jog, walk, or simply support the cause, we’d love to have you involved.
