We’re taking part in Sands Ribbon Run
We're taking part in Ribbon Run Manchester for Sands this Baby Loss Awareness Week 9-15 October.
Me and my son Riley are taking on a 10k run to raise money for Sands in memory of my little boy — and Riley’s little brother — Noah James Hobson 💙.
Noah arrived on 01.09.16, and although he was only with us for 53 minutes, he filled our lives with a love we will carry forever. He was perfect, and he was ours, before he went to play with the angels 👼.
The days, weeks, and months that followed were some of the hardest we’ve ever faced. Without the support of Sands, we would never have found our way through that storm. They gave us space to grieve, people to lean on, and the strength to keep going.
We’re running this 10k for Noah, for Riley, and for every family who needs Sands just like we did. Thank you for supporting us — it truly means more than words.
Ribbon Run is a sponsored run, walk or jog where thousands of people come together to remember their babies and raise funds for Sands.
By sponsoring me, you are helping Sands break the silence around baby loss and to continue to save babies’ lives.
£20 - could provide a bereaved family with a memory box to help create and keep safe precious and lasting memories of their baby.
£35 - could answer a call from someone reaching out for support who has been through pregnancy loss or the death of a baby.
£100 - could help ensure every hospital in the UK has a dedicated Sands volunteer to help healthcare professionals access our training, guidance and support.
