We are walking 100K in March for families facing baby loss and for Amelia
100K each for Amelia 🤍
This March, the three of us — Matt, Emma and Emma — will be walking 100 kilometres in memory of our beautiful Amelia.
Losing a baby is something no family ever imagines facing. It changes you in ways that are hard to explain — the silence, the heartbreak, the questions, and the overwhelming love that still exists with nowhere to go.
Amelia is Matt and Emma’s daughter. She is our niece. She is part of our family. Always.
She is spoken about, thought about, and loved every single day. Grief doesn’t mean forgetting — it means carrying someone with you in a different way.
We’re taking on 100K in March in her honour and in support of Sands, a charity that supports families through pregnancy and baby loss. When the unimaginable happens, having compassionate support can make all the difference.
This challenge isn’t just about distance. It’s about showing up.
It’s about taking steps forward, even when life feels heavy.
There will be early mornings, tired legs, busy days — but every single kilometre will be for her.
For her memory.
For other parents who find themselves walking this difficult path.
If you would like to support us — by donating, sharing, or simply keeping Amelia in your thoughts this March — it would mean more than we can say.
100 kilometres.
Three of us.
One very loved little girl.
For Amelia. Always. 🤍
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.
Thank you.
