Surgery update

Hey guys - just an update - firstly thank you to the people who have donated so far it’s greatly appreciated 💜🩷
Secondly - I’m currently laid up in hospital after major surgery that wasn’t in the pipeline till this time next year - so the swim will go ahead but at a later date of end of December / early January as I’m unable to swim / lift etc for 6-8 weeks

Darcie - Rae’s memory swim

In November myself and Kelly are going to swim 2k to fundraise for Sands - a charity close to my heart and a charity who supported Me and Chris massively when Darcie was stillborn and still do. 
This is going to be an incredibly difficult challenge for myself  but I wanted to do something in Darcie’s memory while raising money for Sands and swimming was something I always enjoyed when I was more able.

We're swimming in November for families facing baby loss

We’ve committed to swimming in November for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.
