Cass absolutely smashed his 5km Ribbon Run this morning! 🏃‍♂️💨
He did it in an amazing 40 minutes in aid of Sands and in loving memory of his big brother. 💙👶
This run also counts towards his Civic Award, meaning he has officially ticked off one of his big challenges! 🏆✔️
He didn't stop smiling the whole time... even when it really started to hurt! Tinks set the pace on his bike (way too fast! 🚴‍♂️💨) and kept us moving. We ran, we walked, we laughed, and we definitely moaned a bit, but we did it! 😂😂

Cass training run

Tonight we did a bit of training on the treadmill.. Cass out ran me!! Said I was slow 😂 2km done today 🩵 getting prepared for the 5km

Cassius is working towards the Torbay and Devon Civic award to achieve the award he has to prove his participation in seven main areas.

One being adopting a cause for charity! He has decided to support Sands, a charity very close to all our hearts 💕 

We’re taking part in Sands Ribbon Run

We're taking part in Sands Ribbon Run this Baby Loss Awareness Week 9-15 October.

Sands exists to support anyone affected by the death of a baby, before, during or shortly after birth, whenever this happened and for as long as they need support. 

By sponsoring us, you are helping Sands break the silence around baby loss and to continue to save babies’ lives.

£10 - could provide a hand and footprint kit to help create memories.

£20 - could provide a bereaved family with a memory box to help create and keep safe precious and lasting memories of their baby.

£35 - could answer a call from someone reaching out for support who has been through pregnancy loss or the death of a baby.

£100 - could help ensure every hospital in the UK has a dedicated Sands volunteer to help healthcare professionals access our training, guidance and support.
