Walk 100k in March 2026

I’m walking 100K in March for families facing baby loss

I’ve committed to walking 100K in March for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Thank you.

Our angel Fionn

Sunday 1st Mar
Our fourth child Fionn was given the horrible diagnosis of Acrania/Anencephaly (neural tube defect)
Anencephaly is a fatal neural tube defect (NTD) where a baby is born without major parts of the brain, skull, and scalp, occurring when the neural tube fails to close during the first month of pregnancy. It causes severe brain exposure, with symptoms including missing cranial bones, cleft palate, and heart defects.
Our baby boy Fionn was born on 1st March 2025 at 18 weeks and 2 days pregnant. He was born in the Forget me Not's suite of the South West acute hospital, Enniskillen.
To get 123 minutes with Fionn was so precious.
As part of Sands walk 100,000k for the month of March we are trying our best to exceed this in Fionn's memory 👼💔😭🎂🎈
