We’re taking part in Sands Ribbon Run
We’re taking part in the Sands Ribbon Run to remember our baby and to raise money for Sands, a charity that supports families affected by pregnancy and baby loss.
Earlier this year, we found out we were expecting our first baby. We were so excited to become parents and had already started imagining the life we would have together as a family.
Sadly, at around 12 weeks, we found out that our baby had stopped growing and their heartbeat had stopped. We had experienced a missed miscarriage, and on the 15th of September we had to say goodbye to our baby.
We wanted to do something positive in our baby’s memory, so we’ve decided to take part in the Sands Ribbon Run together. We’ll be running not only to remember our little one, but also to help support other parents and families who sadly find themselves facing the same experience.
