I’m walking 100K in September for families facing baby loss
I’m once again committing to walking 100k in September to raise money for Sands and to take each step in memory of my gorgeous baby boy Bodhi-River who I don’t get to see grow up.
Losing a child full term is a horrendous experience, your house, family and life is ready to welcome your new baby and you come home with empty arms and broken hearts. You feel their loss every second of everyday and that doesn’t get any easier.
I’m a mum who will always have one of her children missing from every milestone, every photo, every evening at the dinner table.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.
