I’m running 2k a day in February for families facing baby loss

I’ve committed to running 2k a day this February for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

I’m running 2k a day in February for families facing baby loss

Thursday 5th Feb
I'm a mother to 3 (1 who is no longer here) and I'm hoping to raise money to help other families who have lost a baby whether through stillbirth, during labour, or after the birth. 

I was personally helped by SANDS after losing my daughter Aurora. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of her. The support I received was a light in the darkness at the time. 

Any donations are used to fund bereavement support and research to save babies lives. £25 provides a memory box for bereaved families. £36 means a support call for a bereaved parent and £98 helps place a dedicated SANDS volunteer in a UK hospital to support families and healthcare professionals. 

Any pound helps make a huge difference to the devastated families and  SANDS support is something that they will always remember. X
