Cole and Abbie found out at their 12 week scan, that one of their twins had sadly died. This hit them hard. They've been overwhelmed by the support and outreach they have received and they decided to turn their heartache into something positive. By attempting to turn £1 into £1,000,000! They have so many ideas of how they will endeavour to reach their target and they'd love for everyone to come along and join them on their journey.

Their incredible efforts will directly support Sands to ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. Supporting our mission to campaign for change and support research so that babies are saved and fewer families experience the pain of losing a baby.

It all started with just £1, which funded the very first raffle when Cole upcycled a set of chest of drawers. Money raised from that raffle was then reinvested to fund the next one, and so on. Over time, this simple but powerful model has grown into something extraordinary.

Today, the raffles feature prizes that are either generously donated or purchased using funds from previous raffles. Prizes have included a Fiat 500, a huge luxury hamper of products, £50,000 in cash, and much more.

Reaching £1,000,000 will have a huge impact,  enabling vital support, services, and resources to reach far more people when they need it most. It means more help, more opportunities, and lasting change made possible by a single £1 that keeps working again and again.

The £1 Army fund is also helping to grow the impact even further.
