Loss
On the 28th of November 2025 i gave birth to my sweet baby girl, Sara - the most beautiful, wriggly and feisty baby i have ever seen. By the end of the 23rd of December, we had lost her. Alongside the grief and trying to make sense of something senseless, i find myself still fighting against this new reality that has been forced upon us. A reality that i am unable to change no matter how much i cry, hope, fight.SANDS are a charity who have already provided much needed support since Sara passed away. They are the UK’s leading pregnancy and baby loss charity and support those touched by pregnancy loss or the death of a baby. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby.
I am doing this 26.2 mile challenge in March in Sara's name - to honour my baby and to raise money to help others. Please know that every pound raised can make a difference to people faced with unfathomable loss. If you are able to contribute, it would be much appreciated. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
For my little sunshine Sara, who will be forever loved, remembered and missed.

£20 - could provide a bereaved family with a memory box to help create and keep safe precious and lasting memories of their baby.
£35 - could answer a call from someone reaching out for support who has been through pregnancy loss or the death of a baby.
£100 - could help ensure every hospital in the UK has a dedicated Sands volunteer to help healthcare professionals access our training, guidance and support.
