I’m taking part in Sands Ribbon Run

I’m taking part in Sands Ribbon Run this Baby Loss Awareness Week 9-15 October.

Sands exists to support anyone affected by the death of a baby, before, during or shortly after birth, whenever this happened and for as long as they need support. 

By sponsoring me, you are helping Sands break the silence around baby loss and to continue to save babies’ lives.

£10 - could provide a hand and footprint kit to help create memories.

£20 - could provide a bereaved family with a memory box to help create and keep safe precious and lasting memories of their baby.

£35 - could answer a call from someone reaching out for support who has been through pregnancy loss or the death of a baby.

£100 - could help ensure every hospital in the UK has a dedicated Sands volunteer to help healthcare professionals access our training, guidance and support.

Hello Everyone. As most of you are aware, I lost my baby at 9weeks 4 days. I didn't find this out until my 11 week scan. A lot of people dont know that the previous year I was told I was infertile and had to come to terms with never having a baby of my own. 
When I found out I was pregnant, I was so excited and finally thought things were working out for me. But how I was wrong. The pregnancy wasn't easy, major relationship problems, sickness and juggling my diabetes. 
I kept telling myself that it would all be worth it in the end because I would have a beautiful baby to call my own. 

On the 5th November is the devasting day and ive struggled every day since.
Ive experienced grief as I lost my grandee, who was my rock. This is like no Grief ive ever felt. This breaks my heart and soul on a daily basis.
