I’m running 5k a day in January for families facing baby loss
I’ve committed to running 5k a day this January for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Day 27 - 8K run completed
Tuesday 27th Jan Day 27 - 8K run completed. Despite having already reached my distance target, I’m still going to continue running until the end of the month.

Monday 26th Jan Day 26 - 7K run completed. It was a cold run but I did it!
Day 25 -5k Run completed
Sunday 25th Jan Day 25 - 5K Run completed after a spin class this morning.
Day 24 - 5K Run completed ☑️
Saturday 24th Jan Day 24 - 5K run completed.. Today I reached my target of 155K that I had set myself for this month, a week ahead of schedule!

Wednesday 21st Jan Day 21 - 5K run completed indoors due to the weather.
Day 20 - 6K run completed ☑️
Tuesday 20th Jan Day 20 - 6K morning run before work completed!
Day 18 & 19 - 10K run
Monday 19th Jan Day 18 & 19 - 10K run this morning.
Day 17 - 5K run ☑️
Saturday 17th Jan Day 17 - 5K run completed after a long shift at work! I had no motivation tonight but it was discipline that got me out there.
Day 16 - 5k run completed
Friday 16th Jan Day 16 - 5k run turned into a 7k run this morning!
Day 15 - 5K Run
Thursday 15th Jan Day 15 - 5K run completed the power of consistency!Every day this month I'm running 5K a day to raise funds for Sands, to support families facing pregnancy & baby loss.

Day 14 - completed a 7K run this morning!
Wednesday 14th Jan Day 14 - yes it felt so good this morning I added on and did a 7K run! Discipline is key. Only now, 2 weeks into this 5k daily run in January for SANDS that I am actually enjoying running again 😆.

Tuesday 13th Jan Day 13 - 5k run this morning in the rain but I did it!
Days 11 &12
Monday 12th Jan Day 11 there was a glitch and only 4k run was recorded therefore today, Day 12 I did 6k run at 6 am.
