Walk 100k in March 2026

I’m walking 100K in March for families facing baby loss

I’ve committed to walking 100K in March for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Thank you.

My reason why

Monday 9th Feb
I’ve decided to take on the 100km in March challenge for Sands. Some of you may or may not know, but on 13th December 2022 we lost a baby. This year I wanted to stretch myself a little, breathe deeper and honour the tiny life that changed me in ways words don’t quite reach.

I’ve been working on myself quietly for a while now… walking 10k steps a day (minus this last week because of a knee injury), getting to the gym and making better choices. Between 9th January and 3rd February I lost 9.3kg, and this challenge feels like the next step in finding my strength again.

If anyone would like to donate in honour of the baby we never got to hold, and all the babies other families don’t have with them today, I would be so grateful 🫶🏼
Every step in March is for them.
