I’m running 2k a day in January for families facing baby loss

I’ve committed to running 2k a day this January for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

I’ll be taking part in raising money for an amazing charity, one very close to home. After grieving and seeking support to navigate myself through our loss in 2020, I have decided to do my part💓
My heart goes out to the women and families going through this process. Super women.

Many women feel ashamed to speak of their losses, this can make our experiences all the worse. January is a month in our family where we would have welcomed someone special.  A constant reminder of what ifs. The month where we lost our first back in 2020. This is completely pushing the boat out for me, but with the influence of my two rainbows I know I can do this.  And if I can’t run it I will crawl it!
