I’m taking part in Sands Ribbon Run

I’m taking part in Sands Ribbon Run in Manchester this Baby Loss Awareness Week 9-15 October.

Support me as I take on my distance in support of Sands, helping them to continue to build a world where more babies survive and more families receive the happy ending they deserve.

Ribbon Run is a sponsored run, walk or jog where thousands of people come together to remember their babies and raise funds for Sands.

By sponsoring me, you are helping Sands break the silence around baby loss and to continue to save babies’ lives.

£20 - could provide a bereaved family with a memory box to help create and keep safe precious and lasting memories of their baby.

£35 - could answer a call from someone reaching out for support who has been through pregnancy loss or the death of a baby.

£100 - could help ensure every hospital in the UK has a dedicated Sands volunteer to help healthcare professionals access our training, guidance and support.

Mini challenge

Saturday 2nd Aug
During the week I am going to be challenging myself to do 10k I’m getting into the swing of it by doing 2km a day

The start

Wednesday 30th Jul
We are a family doing the 1k for our little boy Noah we lost in May.
On the 20th of May I started to bleed heavy had my son and said everthing looked out couple days later I just felt something was wrong so I went to a and e and they did another scan telling me all my waters had gone.
I went to a specialist who told me my bad was not developing well and would be born with a lot of health issues. Along with the risk to myself and baby if o were to carry on with the pregnancy. I was told that it was very unlikely that he would have lived due to all the issues. We choose to go though with a medical termination, however before doing so I went into labour. The labour was not painless and felt like it went on forever and after 1.5 hours our little Noah was born and left the world.
We will also be racing for other family and friends that we know of that have been through the same as us.

Thank you to my Sponsors
