I’m running 2k a day in January for families facing baby loss
I’ve committed to running 2k a day or 62k total, this January to raise money for Sands.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby.
Anything anyone can donate is greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

31 days of running done, 31 days that have been both wonderful and hard at times. Thank you to everyone who helped me raise this money for such a brilliant cause. Now to rest my legs for a week 😅✨️❤️
Saturday 31st Jan
An amazing second to last run sky ✨️💙 I've now achieved my distance goal of 125km but will be going for my final run tomorrow to complete the everyday commitment aspect
Friday 30th Jan
Doing this has made me feel very appreciative of being by the sea. I'm so close to my fundraising goal so thank you everyone who has contributed towards it. All the funds go towards helping real families dealing with grief and it makes an actual differenc
Thursday 29th Jan
I quite like the moodier sky's, all though the sun rises at the icy start of this were so lovely
Monday 26th Jan
Slightly faster/longer run today but still keeping below 5km to prevent injury, only 5 runs to go!
Monday 26th Jan
Another cautious distance today, but my legs are feeling a little better which is great as finishing this challenge is so important to me.
Sunday 25th Jan
Shorter and slower run today as I'm trying not to tip over into an injury! No sky today as focused on getting through it carefully
Saturday 24th Jan
Raising the distance again!
Thursday 22nd Jan I'm raising my distance goal again from 95km to 125km to keep the most challenging aspect for me going for the entirety of January - turning up everyday no matter the weather or emotion.
Not a photo of the sky because I had to shield my phone from the pelting rain but a very damp seafront!
Wednesday 21st Jan
Life lessons learned today: 1) Running hungover is a special kind of self inflicted grim 2) you'll feel better afterwards 3) honouring commitments is always worth it
Monday 19th Jan
Today's sky photo 📸 bit moody but lovely nonetheless. Thank you so much for everyone's support ❤️
Saturday 17th Jan
It's been really lovely noticing something beautiful in every type of weather, in the bright days and completely grim ones. Today felt really heavy and difficult on my legs. I think I'll drown them in magnesium.
Friday 16th Jan
A very blue palette today 💙 my shin was sore today so going to go slowly tomorrow
Wednesday 14th Jan
Raising my distance goal to 95km!
Saturday 10th Jan Getting out of the house everyday, no matter the weather or anxiety has always been most of the challenge for me but, as I'm over the halfway mark on the distance goal, I've decided to raise the distance to 95km to make things a little more challenging physically.
Looking forward to the mental challenge in support of a great cause.
Friday 19th Dec Thank you to those who have donated to my fundraising page & anyone who are considering doing so.Thank you to my Sponsors
