Run 2k a Day in January 2026

My Activity Tracking

130
kms

My target 125 kms

I’m running 2k a day in January for families facing baby loss

I’ve committed to running 2k a day or 62k total, this January to raise money for Sands.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby.

Anything anyone can donate is greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Raising my distance goal to 95km!

Saturday 10th Jan
Getting out of the house everyday, no matter the weather or anxiety has always been most of the challenge for me but, as I'm over the halfway mark on the distance goal, I've decided to raise the distance to 95km to make things a little more challenging physically.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me and donated to my fundraiser, it really means a lot. Sands is an awesome charity and I'm really proud to be doing this to raise funds for them.

Looking forward to the mental challenge in support of a great cause.

Friday 19th Dec
Thank you to those who have donated to my fundraising page & anyone who are considering doing so.

Sadly, half of adults in the uk have said that they, or someone they know, had experienced at least one form of pregnancy or baby loss.

Sands is an incredible charity that do so much for families that go through such a monumentally hard experience, so I'm really looking forward to starting in January to do my own little bit to help.

Though I run fairly regularly, I have always struggled with consistency, so this feels like a real mental challenge and one I am proud to take on in support of Sands.

I'll be posting photos of my activity log when the time comes and any other updates I have along the way.

Have a wonderful Christmas friends, and see you in Jan!
