I’m walking 100K in September for families facing baby loss

I’ve committed to walking 100K in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Thank you.

Reaching the end goal

Sunday 22nd Sep
So - it’s Sunday morning - pouring with rain outside and I am thankful I have a treadmill.

Reached 80km yesterday and feeling super proud of myself for walking even when I wasn’t feeling the love.  Not long now - watch this space for my last walk next weekend.  So excited.  All will become clear xxx

Half way there

Saturday 14th Sep
So 14 days in and walked over 50k.  Yesterday was eventful - Well actually terrifying but had a nice leisurely walk around Sywell Country Park today.

Doing this in memory of Charlotte, Ella and Violet and all the other babies taken too soon.

Please support if you can.

The road is long

Wednesday 4th Sep
Hey guys
So 4 days in and 15.5k completed so far.  For those of you who have to put up with me regularly you’ll know what issues I have with my legs.  I wanted to do this challenge to get myself moving and hopefully help my legs.  Well 4 days in and they hurt likely buggery but onwards and upwards - I will complete this journey for those who have been and continue to be supported by Sands
