I’m taking part in Sands Starlight Walk
I’m taking part in Sands Starlight Walk as I want to help those affected by the loss of a baby to find the light in the dark. Every day 13 babies die before, during or shortly after birth. I am raising funds to help Sands continue to build a world where more babies survive, and more families receive the happy ending they deserve.

Starlight Walk is a sponsored walk where hundreds of people come together to walk under the stars to remember their babies and raise funds for Sands. In memory of Caleb Wren
Monday 18th Nov In March this year, our family tragically suffered the loss of our beautiful, longed for grandson, Caleb Wren. Until the loss of Caleb, although I’d always feel incredibly sad and unbelievably sympathetic upon hearing of the loss of a child, I never fully understood the total devastation that such a loss brings. The very hardest thing for me, apart from the obvious grief for this dear baby boy was seeing the utmost, deepest sorrow that my poor son and his lovely partner suffered, and still suffer. Caleb would have had three older brothers as well as his mummy and daddy and loving grandparents, great grandparents, aunties, uncles, cousins… we all feel the loss so deeply of our precious little grandson and the kindness of others has been the mainstay as we each navigate our grief in our own way.Thank you to my Sponsors
