I’m swimming in November for families facing baby loss
I’ve committed to swimming this November for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Sunday 23rd Nov Today was my final swim to complete the challenge. It was just 70 lengths of the pool - and I felt great afterwards for reaching my target a week early. A huge THANK YOU to everyone who was supported me along the way and made a donation. It means a lot! xxx Share
Penultimate swim!
Sunday 16th Nov I was full of cold today but determined to continue with my challenge. I dug deep. After 70 lengths of the pool, I still felt I had enough energy in me to carry on. So glad I did. Just one more swim to go! Share
Went the extra lengths today!
Sunday 9th Nov I wanted to bank some extra lengths today so stayed in the pool for an extra half an hour and managed to complete an extra 30 lengths on top of the 100 I had already planned to achieve. I feel better for it! Share
