I’m running 200k in September for families facing baby loss

I’ve committed to running 200k in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

I completed my final run for this month's challenge, hitting the 200k mark! I wasn't sure whether I'd be able to do it due to illness, but thankfully I was feeling good enough to get it done today.

Thank you to everyone that's donated, it's meant so much to me & definitely motivated me to keep going.

The donations raised are enough to provide a full day of bereavement care training for midwives and healthcare professionals, making sure they can offer the best possible care to vulnerable families facing the worst of tragedies. All because of you!

Wet and windy conditions!

Monday 15th Sep
September started with mixed weather, one minute it was nice and sunny, the next it was raining. The second week has been filled with thunderstorms, high winds and lots more rain.

I've taken to the treadmill in the gym which is just awful 😅 but I'm still clocking every kilometre needed.

Come wind or rain I'll still be out there running.
