Walk 100K in September

I’m walking 100K in September for families facing baby loss

I’ve committed to walking 100K in September for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

In my 20’s I had 4 miscarriages and a Ectopic pregnancy and sepsis with which I lost a Fallopian tube.

Then again in my 30’s the hospital terminated two more pregnancy’s due to complications and again another Ectopic, in which I lost my remaining Fallopian tube.

I was told I’d have to try IVF should we want children, so I worked and saved damn hard so this could be achieved.

45k later at the age of 38 I started IVF, I had 7 attempts in 5 years, but sadly was unsuccessful miscarriaging in the second trimester.

Most of the time my husband and I continued this journey alone and quietly as we didn’t want to upset friends and family or jinx it. Aslo peoples opinions can be very cruel and that in itself makes life hard to carry on with.

We don’t have photos or ever got to hold our children, we did name them and love the, very much albeit a short.

I’m doing this for all the mothers and fathers that will never get to be and to support research.

Thank you.
