I’m walking 100K in March for families facing baby loss
I’ve committed to walking 100K in March for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.
Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.

Staying positive through the darkest of times
Thursday 5th Feb Hello, my name is Rebecca. Recently myself and husband “Jamie” have gone through a pregnancy loss. Having tried for so long and gone through unsuccessful fertility treatment it felt like a miracle seeing those two lines on the pregnancy test. I was 11 weeks pregnant when we found out that baby no longer had a heart beat. Unfortunately they were also querying a molar pregnancy which I will have to have further testing for, surgery and be closely monitored by my specialist nurse and Weston park. Working in the medical profession I had this drive to try and support other women and families going through similar situations and came across sands fundraising page. If I can give any little back to support those also feeling the pain where going through provides me with some comfort. So once I’ve recovered from surgery me and my husband will be walking 100K across March with our beagle in toe and heading on those spring walks in the hills to raise money.Thank you to my Sponsors
